How to run the ActiveX on Microsoft Edge?
(As of 1, May, 2023, Note: Microsoft Keep Changing ...)
You are advised to use Internet Explorer.
Use Internet Explorer (IE) as administrator at least once to install the ActiveX control.
When you started Internet Explorer, the system will automatically redirect you to the browser Edge.
That will not enable you to install the activex.
To prevent that, Rename the directory c:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\113.0.1774.42\BHO to something else e.g. BHO_bu.
If there is more problem, check under Internet options->security->custom level, that you have enabled Activex to downloaded and executed.

Then, after the installation of Activex, you can continue to use IE or if you want to use Microsoft Edge, do the following:
1. Open brower Edge, on top right corner, ..., go to Setting
2. -> on the left: Default Browser
3. Under: Allow sites to be reloaded in IE mode: select Allow
4. Under: Internet Explorer mode pages, add the website address that needs the activex
5. Click: Restart
6. Go to the site that needs the activeX.
7. -> top right corner, ... Reload in IE mode
If there is more problem, check under: More tools -> Internet options->security->custom level, that you have enabled Activex to downloaded and executed.

After installation of the Activex, you also can run the web site under IE Tab of the Chrome browser.
